MY REVIEW

Another great book by Jill Shalvis! HE’S SO FINE is another spectacular addition to her Lucky Harbor series! This time we have Lucky Harbor native, hunky charter boat captain, Cole Donovan and newcomer, Olivia Bentley.

Olivia is the neighbor and friend of Becca, who is engage to Sam. Sam is one of Cole’s best friends and business partners. Olivia came to Lucky Harbor about a year ago and opened up a vintage shop, hoping for a fresh start and an escape from her past. Aside from her friendship with Becca she mostly sticks to herself. But she comes out of her shell in a major way when she sees Cole fall off his boat into the ocean early one morning and jumps in to save him, nearly drowning them both in the process.

Cole has effectively avoided the women in Lucky Harbor after him, being according to Lucille, one of the last hunky bachelors left available in Lucky Harbor. But it was hard to miss the beautiful Olivia when she jumps right on him! This creates the need to bring her onto his boat and share a little nude body heat to warm up to avoid hyperthermia. This definitely gets his attention!

Cole and Olivia’s romance is carefully crafted with Ms. Shalvis typical brand of humor, off the charts attraction and sexual chemistry, interference by the reluctant couple’s friends and Lucky Harbor neighbors. The dialogue is filled with witty banter, charm and a just enough omission to create a bump in the road to the HEA we all know is coming. 4 stars
