Loved ACCIDENTALLY IN LOVE! After reading How Forever Feels (the 4th Friends First book from Laura Drewry) I just had to read Ellie and Brett’s story. Me? I love a character with a quick, dry wit (sarcastic mouth) it’s the type of humor I love in a friend and a book friend too. Ellie is a force of nature. I just love this character’s personality and wit. I will paraphrase Maya’s description of her, “She is “lippy” but once you get past that you see what a wonderful person she truly is.” And she had nothing on Brett. He might have been more of the quiet type, but he was Ellie’s perfect match.

This was more of an enemies to friends story, since Ellie hates cops and Brett is one. I’m pretty sure all the times she told him, and others, to shove their badges… well, she definitely wasn’t making friends, lol. But when old trouble finds her again she finds herself in the company of “Ponch” for her own safety. The sparks from the attraction these two had was impossible to ignore, even for Ellie.

The Friends First gang I loved in How Forever Feels are all here, Ellie, Jayne, Regan, Maya, and their men. And Laura Drewry tells their stories with hilarious dialogue, great storylines, steamy sexin’ scenes, and a very smooth writing style that had this reader feeling like I was right there amidst friends. ACCIDENTALLY IN LOVE can be enjoyed all on it’s own, but I warn you, you will be hooked and immediately in search of the other stories in this series. 4.5 stars
