ROMANCING THE BACHELOR, the second book in Diane Alberts’ new Hamilton Family series starts off great. Shelby’s sass and dismissal wasn’t what Eric was used to from women. He was hooked and so was I.

Once Eric convinces Shelby to give him a chance to be her “friend” (since neither wants a relationship), after promising her he absolutely will not fall in love with her or ask her to stay in Atlanta with him rather than going for her dream job in a small town. Shelby isn’t about to let another man derail her from her dreams. Likewise, Shelby promises Eric she will not be a threat to his beloved bachelor state by falling in love with him.

The book continues in a slow romantic build with plenty of humor and sexy times. The pace really picks up toward the end has Eric and Shelby are torn between their promises to each other, some miscommunication, and the realization that they have indeed fallen in love.

I really enjoyed Romancing the Bachelor and am hoping Wyatt Hamilton’s story will be next!
