The fourth book in Nicole Flockton’s Elite Series, FIGHTING FOR REDEMPTION, finally tells the real story of Olympic bad boy, Brett Hunter. This book does not disappoint! The story is awesome and can be read as a stand-alone, but if you’ve read the first book in the series you will really love reading about Brett’s redemption!

Of course, as is so often the case, things get worse before they can get better. Brett nearly hits bottom. His publicist drops him and his agent is about to give up on him too. But before he does Dan calls in a favor from his friend, Frank and his PR firm takes on the task of cleaning up and rebranding Brett’s image. Frank assigns Cassandra Fielder because she has experience in dealing with misbehaving athletes. Another athlete is the last thing Cassandra wants to deal with, but then she meets him. Just shaking his hand sends electricity through her whole body… which only annoys her more.

Brett has his reasons for the things he does, but even he doesn’t fully realize the depth of those reasons. He only believes he doesn’t deserve the good life he has and so unconsciously sabotages it. Nothing his parents, agent or former PR firm says is enough to change his attitude, but when he meets Cassandra and she doesn’t coddle him? That gets his attention, as does her beauty and the intense reaction his body has to her every time she’s near. As they begin to work together to clean up his image the bad boy in him who refuses to follow rules sees no reason why he shouldn’t act on his attraction and pursue his sexy publicist. Poor Cassandra never stands a chance, especially when she begins to see the real Brett and his vulnerability is her undoing. Fantastic story you really need to read and enjoy for yourself!
