Seeking to expand, TerraMates has opened new locations with different business models.

Eden is looking for a fresh start and is one of the first mail-order brides from New York City. As soon as she signs the paperwork and collects her credits, she blacks out.

When Eden wakes up, she’s been married to an alien bounty hunter. She’s ready for a new beginning, but all she knows about her alien husband is that he’s handsome and dangerous.

This story takes place in the TerraMates universe, but can be read as a standalone novel.

AUCTIONED TO THE ALPHA is another great addition to Lisa Lace’s TerraMates series and much more fast paced than the first four books. Filled with adventure, dangerous aliens, and an ex-girlfriend that may or may not be trustworthy this one is much more than an off planet romance.

This one features Eden, a young girl from New York who’s family is down on their luck so she considers joining the TerraMates mail-order bride program in order to help her family. She doesn’t realize her natural red hair is highly sought after by many aliens and will bring a high profit to the agency so is not ready for the high pressure she receives from the recruiting manager. Nor does she expect the minute she is pressured into signing she will be drugged and moved off planet to be auctioned to the highest bidder.

Triago is a bounty hunter known for his aloofness and lone wolf style. He is at the auction in order to catch a high-dollar alien collar, but when he sees this young, vulnerable earth girl about to be sold to one of the most despicable creatures he knows he feels compelled to rescue her by the only means possible, he buys her himself as his bride.

Eden, being the sensible girl that she is, adapts fairly quickly to her new lot even though it is nothing like she imagined or was led to believe. It doesn’t hurt that Triago is gorgeous, built like the warrior he is, and sexy as sin. Triago does his best to take care of her, but is not one to get emotionally involved and he’s got bad guys to catch. But even he is not immune to the beauty of this earth girl and they are soon giving into the strong sexual attraction they have for one another. They work well as a team, along with his faithful “pet” and companion, Hercules. I love that Auctioned by the Alpha has plenty of twists. The plot is impossible to predict and keeps you guessing with each new chapter. Great story! 4 stars

~I listened to the audible version of this book and felt the narrator did a really good job at voicing the varying characters and pace of the story.
