Montlake Romance, Contemporary
She swore off love forever… but he just might change her mind.
The sixth sweet, thrilling book in the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling Weekday Brides series from Catherine Bybee.
Meg Rosenthal: Matchmaker by day, realist by night, Meg is not about to get swept away by a charming, darkly handsome businessman in a designer suit. She’s come to a beautiful secluded resort to evaluate the private island’s potential for her agency, not to ogle its owner. But there’s something about the magnetic man that’s hard to resist, even for a woman who refuses to fall in love.
Valentino Masini: A successful and drop-dead sexy businessman, Valentino is used to having the finer things in life. Yet he’s never wanted someone the way he wants Meg, who’s stirring up a hurricane of trouble in his heart. But just as he decides to convince her to stay, someone else decides it might be time to get Meg off the island…permanently.

Love a little danger and intrigue mixed in with your romance and seduction? SEDUCED BY SUNDAY, the sixth book Catherine Bybee’s Weekday Brides series is just what you are looking for. Bybee never fails to deliver a smoking hot and mysterious leading man to win the reluctant heart of the sassy and very independent heroine. Seduced by Sunday has the added charm of a smooth Italian lover who owns his own private resort island. Valentino, or Val, Masini is drool-worthy as he steals the heart of Margaret “Meg” Rosenthal, a matchmaker who avoids any thing to do with commitment in her own life. In her words, “I don’t do sleepovers”. His words, “One of us is going to be very disappointed”. I’ll leave it for you to read and see which of them it is.
Seduced by Sunday had just the right balance of humor, banter, romance, danger and mystery to keep me interested from the first page to the last. I loved Meg! She is a strong-willed, sharp-witted, take-charge kind of woman who wraps all that up with her femininity and classy sense of style. This knock-out of a woman kept Val guessing and on his toes. Definitely no pushover, but Val was the perfect man to slip under Meg’s defenses and show her what a great team they make. Fans of the series will be glad to see Meg has enlisted Michael to help her research Val’s resort as a possible destination for Alliance’s client list and he makes good use of his time on the island for a little private time of his own.
Another excellent read that makes me even more eager for Val’s sister Gabi’s story in the last book of the Weekday Brides series, Treasured by Thursday. 4.5 stars
