STAYING FOR GOOD, the second book in Catherine Bybee’s Most Likely To Series was every bit as good as the first book in the series. Zoe and Luke get their second chance to find out if the love they shared as teens in high school can last in the adult world.

I loved Zoe! Her sassiness, her big heart, her ambition, and her drive to be anything but “the girl most likely to never leave River Bend” were admirable. She loves her family, her friends Mel and Jo, and she still loves her high school boyfriend Luke… but she wanted more than River Bend had to offer and she went for it. Making it big as a celebrity chef and has made a life for herself in Texas. But coming back to visit after ten years and spending time with her friends and Luke again has her rethinking her plans for the future.

Luke is one sexy guy! It broke his heart when Zoe left since he’d planned to spend the rest of his life with his girl, but he understood and let her go. He’s been good with the life he has in River Bend, at least until Zoe started coming back for visits. Now he’s restless and not sure he’s ready to give up on the life he wanted with the woman he wanted when he was just a teen. He’s ready to go after his girl!

Great book! Catherine Bybee never fails to write an enjoyable story that keeps me caught up right from the beginning. My emotions are all over the place as she blends in friendship, love and a little suspense. The dialogue is always witty, the storyline thorough and well-written, the fully-developed characters are likable and easy to imagine as being your neighbors or friends. I love her easygoing writing style and look forward to anything she writes. Staying For Good did not disappoint!!
