This morning I overslept, then slipped on a stray sock and banged my toe into the nightstand. The elevator in my building broke and I had to run down six flights of stairs. And then my local coffee shop was closed. For health code violations.

Loved it. The ending brought happy, romance, tears to my eyes. Max was a doll. Kind with a dirty sense of humor. Total book boyfriend material. Lauren was sassy, nothing got past her. Awesome story. Very sexy. Great writing. 4.5 stars

Sweet, unexpected romance. Cara is under pressure from her Nana to marry and turns to her brother Ben’s best friend for help. Toby thinks her idea for a fake fiancee and elopement is crazy right up to the moment he sees himself as the only man for the job. Cara and Toby are good together. Great love story. 4 stars
THE HAMMERSMITH & CITY LINE by Kitty French:
Crazy, zany characters. So funny and some serious heat! Connie was completely unfiltered, fearless, and yet so lovable. Ryan is poster boy hot, wickedly sexy, and sincerely sigh-worthy sweet. I loved he wasn’t afraid to say exactly what he wanted and then go for it. 4 stars
THE LOOP by B.J. Harvey:
Cameron Carsen, hot, sexy soldier and Dr. Cade Carsen’s (from Game Saver) twin brother runs into his ex-girlfriend in the L-train… the only woman he ever had and ever will love, but she’s on her way to marry another man. Two people groomed from their youth to marry and be a powerhouse political couple. They develop a close friendship and don’t let their families intentions get in the way. But then, nature takes it’s course. Reese “Pink” Pinkarver is lovely and impossible to resist. Grayson “Gray” Lash III almost realizes too late just how much he loves her. Three words? Sweet love story! 4 stars
WALL STREET STATION by Liv Morris:
Moving story. This one touched all my emotions, but ends beautifully. Seth is amazing and Seraphina lucky to have such a kind, patient man.
