THE WRONG TODD by Donna McDonald is romantic, funny, serious, heartwarming, and written in a very realistic way. A rare story of an older woman being given a second chance at love after being left by a cheating husband. I loved that Sabine was true to herself and didn’t allow herself to be carried away by the very romantic and sweet talking, Todd aka The Sexy Chef. I loved that her jerk of an ex gets his. I loved that Todd was a man who immediately saw Sabine’s worth and was not discouraged by her rebuttals. Her many rebuttals. He knew she was the woman for him and wasn’t afraid to prove himself to her… or wait until she was ready to accept his attentions. The story made me laugh and cry, easily catching me up in the emotional struggles of the characters. The narrator was very good and the story excellent. I liked it so much I’ve listened to it three times already. 4.5 stars.
